PEOPLES' CLIMATE VOTE 2024

The Peoples’ Climate Vote 2024 is the second edition of the Peoples’ Climate Vote survey, carried out by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the University of Oxford. The 2024 survey is bigger in terms of countries: people in 77 countries, representing 87% of the world’s population, were asked their views on climate change. PEOPLES' CLIMATE VOTE 2021 REPORT

With 1.2 million respondents, the Peoples' Climate Vote is the largest survey of public opinion by sample size on climate change ever conducted. Using a new and unconventional approach to polling through mobile gaming apps, the results span 50 countries covering 56% of the world's population. Launched in January 2021, polling was conducted between September and December 2020.

G20 PEOPLES' CLIMATE VOTE 2021

The G20 Peoples’ Climate Vote surveyed over 689,000 people across 18 of the G20 countries from October 2020 until June 2021. This includes over 302,000 young people under the age of 18. In some countries, it is the first time that the voices of young people – who in many countries will be of voting age in just a few years – are heard on climate change.
